During the COVID-19 pandemic, all homes have had to review and fine turn their infection control policies and procedures in every department. Stoneridge Manor went into an outbreak on April 1st with the majority of their residents testing positive for COVID-19. It was during this time that the recreation department had to come up with new and creative ways to keep the residents engaged, while at the same time following infection control guidelines. Kerri and Karen will talk about infection control policies and guidelines that were put into place, what worked and didn't work, and challenges they faced with Residents and their loved ones.
